HEALTH seek aesthetic perfection in their "Stonefist" visuals
HEALTH have shared their new visuals for "Stonefist", their single taken from recent record Death Magic.
Through the noise, the record reaches complex depths as we noted in our review of the LP:
"[Jake] Duzsik, on Death Magic, tackles existential notions of life and death with varied effect. HEALTH must be commended for employing a narrative that questions the moral and immoral; revels in the hedonistic and nihilistic; and at times questions the unanswerable - the nature and purpose of death. One however should not expect Kafka-esque wordplay and some may find the rhyming scheme employed irritating to a certain extent."
While the gravity of "Stonefist" might not concern mortality, the video toys with the notion of finding perfection. The band, clearly unhappy with their visages at the outset, have drastic makeovers.
Death Magic is out now via Fiction. It's our Album Of The Week currently.
