HEALTH are back with new album Death Magic, and its lead track "New Coke"
Los Angeles' noise-rock quartet HEALTH have announced the release of their first album in six years, Death Magic.
It follows a period of speculation from fans; earlier this week we reported on their new website and their revelatory interview with Pitchfork, and although no details were explicit, it seemed like they were about to return to our lives with an almighty bang.
HEALTH will play a one-off show at The Dome, London on 9 June. Tickets will be available in a pre-sale via Songkick on 27 April, and on general sale from 29 April.
Death Magic is out 7 august via Fiction.
The new record will follow up 2009's Get Color. Since then, the band have been creating soundtracks for various projects, including Rockstar's Grand Theft Auto V and Max Payne 3.
Watch the video for "New Coke" below, directed by John Famiglietti, and featuring a (very brief) cameo from ex-Crystal Castles frontwoman Alice Glass. The album's tracklist and art are afterwards.
