Headie One sentenced to six months in prison for carrying a knife
Tottenham rapper Headie One has been sentenced to prison for six months after police found a knife in his car last year.
Headie One had a taste of success in 2019. He released his Music x Road mixtape, and collaborated with the likes of Stormzy, Skepta, Young T & Bugsey, Krept & Konan, and more.
Today (8 January), The Guardian reports that the rapper, real name Irving Adjei, has been sentenced to six months in prison after police officers found a lock knife in Headie One's car last year during a stop and search.
The 25-year-old was bailed after the knife was found with the condition that he stay out of the London boroughs of Haringey and Enfield.
Adjei was convicted last Friday (3 January) Wood Green crown court in north London.
It's not the first time Headie One has spent time in prison either. The Guardian notes that Adjei last went to prison for 30 months October 2014, after being caught with nearly £30,000-worth of heroin and cocaine, as well as a lock knife. He has also spent time in prison two other times.
