HBO release Game Of Thrones mixtape, featuring Big Boi & more
In a recent interview, Outkast’s Big Boi noted that he was working on a Game Of Thrones-themed mixtape. Now, more details of that project have emerged.
As Pitchfork points out, Catch The Throne will be an official release from HBO – also featuring Common, Kilo Kish, Wale, plus other rappers and Latin music stars.
“Nowadays, people are open to anything. There are no limitations to hip-hop culture,” Common told The Wall Street Journal, with one of his lyrics from the project quoted as being: “I sit and think when I’m in my zone/ This life is like a Game of Thrones”.
