Hayley Williams shares lyrics from upcoming boygenius collaboration "Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris"
To celebrate International Women's Day yesterday (8 March) Hayley Williams shared some lyrics from a new boygenius collaboration titled "Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris".
Williams first revealed that boygenius - the collaborative project of Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus - feature on one of her Petals For Armor tracks last week.
Yesterday (8 March), Williams shared some lyrics from her upcoming boygenius collaboration "Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris" to celebrate International Women's Day. Williams wrote, "Happy women’s day. In honor of my personal journey through femininity, with it’s endless facets; and in honor of the feminine wonder that connects literally everyone and everything, i want to share lyrics for an unreleased song called "Roses/Lotus/Violet/Iris"."
She adds, "ROSES/LOTUS/VIOLET/IRIS features Julien Baker, Lucy Dacus and Phoebe Bridgers on backing vocals. They are just three of the incredible women who i get to know and grow alongside in this life. Can’t wait to release this song and more. Happy women’s day."
