Hayley Kiyoko gives update on new music
Hayley Kiyoko has given an update on her new music via her Instagram Story.
Hayley Kiyoko hasn't released new music since July's "I Wish", and yesterday (8 October) the singer/songwriter revealed why she's been quiet for the past few months.
She said on her Instagram Story, "Yes, I've been MIA, and I apologise for that. I've just been going through like self image issues. I gained a lot of weight, I was on anti-depressants, and I got really depressed and I was having a hard time balancing medication and work, and just life."
Updating fans on new music, Kiyoko added, "But I wrote music through it, and i'm on the other side, made it through, and I know you can too. So I'm gonna be sharing some new music with you guys, and I hope it helps you, and I'm sorry I've been distant, but I'm here."
