Has Kanye West gone minimalist for new 'Yeezus' album cover?

Considering his PR campaigns these days normally solely revolve around his Twitter, it looks likely that Kanye West is sticking to the same minimal aesthetic for the artwork to new album Yeezus.
A couple of promotional posters have been circulating the net, such as below, that seem to suggest the record (due 18 June) will come packaged in a jewel case alone, with just a red sticker indicating its title and tracklisting on the reverse.
This differs from the previously leaked gold artwork to the LP, which had been alluded to in a photo posted by West’s girlfriend Kim Kardashian.
It’s also been suggested that Kanye’s not allowing pre-orders for the record to help combat any possible pre-release leaks.
