Harry Styles planning to vote for "whoever is against Brexit"
Harry Styles has signalled his stance in the upcoming UK General Election by saying "whoever is against Brexit" gets his vote.
"Honestly, I’m probably going to vote for whoever is against Brexit," Styles revealed in a chinwag with The Times. "I’m not educated enough on the subject to really go toe-to-toe with someone about it, but disregarding the economic stuff and all of that, I think what it symbolises is the opposite of the world I would like to be in. I think the world should be more about being together and being better together and joining together, and I think it’s the opposite of that."
Given that the established political parties in the UK aren't exactly falling over themselves to support cancelling the nation's disastrous departure from the EU, Styles' options are rather limited. The Tories and UKIP will drag us out while grinning ear to ear and Labour have committed(ish) to going out too, albeit somewhat less bridge burnily.
Unless the former One Direction man lives in Scotland and can vote SNP, it's likely a toss up between Lib Dems and Greens for him - neither will pull the plug straight away, but both want a second referendum on the terms of the final exit deal with the EU.
