Harry Styles donates Apple advert fee to the International Rescue Committee
It's been revealed that Harry Styles asked Apple to donate his fee for the new AirPods spatial audio advert to the International Rescue Committee.
Yesterday (2 June) Apple released its new iPod-inspired silhouette advert to promote AirPods with spatial audio, and Harry Styles, along with his "Music for a Sushi Restaurant" track, featured in the clip.
According to multiple reports, Styles asked Apple to donate his payment for the advert to the International Rescue Committee.
The International Rescue Committee also confirmed the donation on Twitter yesterday (2 June), writing, "From all of us at the IRC: Thank you to Harry Styles and Apple for your generous donation to the IRC. Working in more than 40 countries, your support will help us reach even more refugees and people in need in the world’s toughest places. Honored to have your support!"
