Hannah Georgas announces All That Emotion acoustic mini-album
Hannah Georgas is celebrating one year of her All That Emotion album with a collection of acoustic tracks from the record, and has shared the acoustic version of "Change" to accompany the announcement.
Satuday (4 September) will mark the one-year anniversary of Georgas' All That Emotion album, and today (2 September) she's announced All That Emotion (Acoustic), a mini-album of acoustic versions of tracks from the album.
News of the acoustic mini-album arrives with an acoustic take on "Change", which is accompanied by a visualiser made by Luke Nairn.
As well as creating an acoustic collection of songs from All That Emotion, Georgas released her All That Emotion Versions EP in June, which featured Matt Berninger, This Is The Kit's Kate Stables, Bartees Strange and more.
Georgas says of the mini-album, "Since releasing All That Emotion last year I've worked on music with friends in ways I never expected to. Local restrictions pushed me to reach out to my peers and collaborate from the comfort of my home studio, an experience I found surprisingly enjoyable. That distance and isolation inspired me to work on these recordings. It feels nice to capture how I've been performing the songs over the past year when I wasn't able to get together with my band. These versions document a very specific feeling and time, and it's special to be able to share them."
