Hannah Georgas releases All That Emotion Versions EP featuring Kate Stables and Bartees Strange
Hannah Georgas has unveiled her All That Emotion Versions EP, which features This Is The Kit's Kate Stables, Bartees Strange and more.
All That Emotion Versions features re-worked songs from Georgas' 2020 album All That Emotion, including the previously released "Pray It Away" with The National's Matt Berninger.
The EP also includes a Bartees Strange remix of "Dreams", a new version of "Easy" with strings by Owen Pallet, and an updated version of "That Emotion" with This Is The Kit's Kate Stables and Holy Fuck's Graham Walsh.
Stables says of the song, "I first met Hannah in 2019 when we were both on tour singing with The National for their I am Easy To Find tour, and I’ll be forever grateful to them for introducing the two of us. We had some of the happiest tour times and high jinx ever. It makes me feel pretty emotional just thinking about it actually, very in keeping with the lyrics of this track in fact. "All that emotion" 100%."
Of the new EP, Georgas says, "Having the opportunity to connect and collaborate with Bartees, Kate, Owen, Matt and Graham has been a treat. All have released their own albums this past year and I've honestly listened to their new music more than anything else. It's been sweet to realise a new side to these songs and it's always refreshing to hear my music in a completely different way. Collaboration is an integral part of making music for me, and it's felt extra special to do this during the pandemic."
