Haim just did a mashup of Lil Nas X's "Panini" and Nirvana's "In Bloom"
For BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge Month, Haim decided to mashup Lil Nas X's "Panini" and Nirvana's "In Bloom".
Back in June, it was revealed that Lil Nas X's "Panini" samples Nirvana's "In Bloom". Earlier this month, the rapper confirmed that Kurt Cobain's daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, approved the accidental sample.
Today Haim have completed the circle by performing a mashup of both tracks as part of BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge Month, and the similarities in the melodies are undeniable.
Lil Nas X has been quite popular in the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge Month, after Anderson .Paak delivered a soulful cover of "Old Town Road" last week.
In August Haim returned with their jazzy new single "Summer Girl", which was their first single since 2017's Something To Tell You album.
The trio also appeared on Charli XCX's Charli track "Warm" last month.
