Grouplove announce third record Big Mess, share three-minute teaser trailer
Grouplove have announced their third record Big Mess, and teased a handful of new songs.
The indie-pop group are previewing four new tracks via a vibrant three-minute trailer - it's sounding big.
The LP was recorded in L.A. and Seattle with producers Captain Cuts (Grouplove's Ryan Rabin) and Phil Ek (Fleet Foxes, The Shins).
"We made this album at an important crossroads in our lives," says the band's Christian Zucconi. "It was a dream come true to be able to work with Phil Ek up in Seattle and with Ryan down in L.A.. We're extremely excited for the world to hear it!"
As well as the new album news, Grouplove have detailed an enormous world tour. One dollar from every ticket sale will be donated to charity: water, which "helps fund water projects like drilled wells, spring protections, and BioSand filters that help provide clean water to communities around the world."
Big Mess is out 9 September via Canvasback Music/Atlantic. The first single, "Welcome To Your Life", is out 15 July.
