Grimes wrote a song for Rihanna, got turned down
Grimes is scheduled to play New York’s Governors Ball this week, with three new songs set to be performed live.
Taking to Twitter, Claire Boucher revealed that one of the tracks was originally written for Rihanna (who she shares management with in the form of Roc Nation). Sadly, Rihanna ultimately turned down the track, so it may feature on the next Grimes record (expected shortly).
Grimes has also confirmed that she’s “re recorded and reproduced all the old visions songs too so they are much better now”.
