Grimes wants to release an "intergalactic children’s metaverse book"
Grimes has shared plans to release an "intergalactic children’s metaverse book" while appearing at the Avalanche Summit in Barcelona.
Last week, Grimes gave a remote talk at the Avalanche Summit blockchain event in Barcelona, and revealed that she plans to release an "intergalactic children's metaverse book".
The new book project is part of Culture Catalyst, a $100 million initiative from the Avalanche Foundation and NFT launchpad OP3N that's dedicated to Web3 entertainment, Bitcoin.com reports.
Grimes said at the event, "When I first got into Web3, this was the kind of project I was hoping to see. I’m very excited to be partnering with OP3N to launch a series of educational art for babies and small children with the goal of creating a profound experience for babies that is also deeply meaningful to adults."
"I hadn’t dropped any NFTs since the first drop because of the environmental concerns," Grimes added. "But I feel totally comfortable launching on Avalanche."
Earlier this month it was revealed that Grimes and Elon Musk welcomed a second child together in December. The piece also revealed that Grimes is still working on her Book 1 album and has 15 songs for it so far, one of which is titled "Marie Antoinette 2077".
