Grimes says she wants to release a "35-track nightcore album"
Grimes has teased that after the release of her BOOK 1 album, she wants to release a "35-track nightcore album" that she's been working on since 2015.
Last month Grimes kicked off her BOOK 1 era with her latest single "Player of Games", and over the weekend she revealed she has a nightcore album that she wants to release after BOOK 1.
Grimes wrote on Twitter, "After my albums out I have like a 35-track nightcore album I’ve been making since 2015 that I think rly needs to come out i don’t think it makes a ton of sense but it’s getting so absurdly long lol."

Back in July 2021 Grimes revealed that her follow-up to last year's Miss Anthropocene album is a "space opera" that results in a lesbian AI romance. In September she added that her new album is "by far my greatest work that I've ever done".
She's yet to share more details of BOOK 1, but did tease a possible collaboration with The Weeknd on Discord last month.
