Grimes reveals she's due to feature on Lady Gaga's Chromatica remix album
Grimes has revealed that she will feature on the highly-anticipated remix of Lady Gaga's Chromatica album.
Over the past few months bloodpop has been teasing a full remix of Lady Gaga's 2020 album Chromatica, but it's yet to get an official announcement, tracklist and release date.
Yesterday (25 July) Grimes apparently revealed to fans on Discord that she will appear on the remix album. Grimes said, "I missed the deadline but it got moved back so now we can do my monologue."

Rina Sawayama, Charli XCX and Bree Runway are among the other artists due to feature on the Chromatica remix album.
Yesterday, Stereogum reported that Grimes also played some new songs as part of a DJ set for the virtual Splendour XR festival. As well as playing previously teased track "Shinigami Eyes", Grimes played "100% Tragedy", a song she previewed on TikTok last week. In the Discord chat, Grimes wrote that the song is "about having to defeat Azealia Banks when she tried to destroy my life", seemingly referring to their 2018 dispute when Banks claimed she was trapped in Elon Musk's mansion waiting for Grimes to collaborate.
Banks responded to Grimes' Discord comment via her Instagram Story, writing, "Grimes def has some psychosexual obsession with me. i think it’s bitterness cuz she doesn’t have the musical capacity i have. everything she does is out of pretentiousness and it comes out like that … while everything i do is out of natural swag & geniusness lmaoo."
