Grimes has lifted the lid on her new video for "California", her latest single from recent record Art Angels.
It features a rather excellent permed wig, rhythmic gymnastics, a sculptor's workshop, and lots of sparkling costumes, flashing lights, and chaotic colour. It's directed by Grimes and her brother Mac.
The video features a new version of the song, which feels softer and synthier than the album cut.
"California" is the latest from Grimes' 2015 record to be given the video treatment, following the gore-soaked visuals for "Flesh Without Blood" and the cyberpunk clip for "Kill V. Maim"
