Grimes names her own Top 10 albums of 2012

Heading many publications’ end-of-year lists, Grimes has revealed her very own Top 10 albums of the past twelve months.

Among the list are the likes of Taylor Swift, Lana Del Rey and Justin Bieber, alongside Julia Holter, Swans and Mykki Blanco.

The Montreal-based musician also included “anything Kitty Pryde made” and “everything Dev Hynes wrote”.

Curiously, her top spot has been reserved for a Doldrums record that hasn’t even been released yet.

“It’s not out, but I’ve heard it and its fucking awesome,” Boucher told Brooklyn Vegan, for whom she complied the list.
