Grimes debuts new song during Electric Daisy Carnival set
Grimes opened her Electric Daisy Carnival DJ set over the weekend with a new song that appears to be titled "Welcome to the Opera".
Grimes first teased that "new music" would be debuting at Electric Daisy Carnival before her DJ set on socials, and opened her set with the new song, which is titled "Welcome to the Opera" according to a YouTube video.
Following her set, Grimes revealed on Twitter that she will "prob drop the demo if Anyma is down but I would still like to edit the song more."
She also hit out at people claiming she wasn't live mixing during her EDC set, writing, "Fuck the pricks saying I’m not live mixing. WOULD A FAKE DJ ACCIDENTALLY PAUSE HER SET 4 TIMES???"

In response to someone telling her to pick "up a guitar for once", Grimes wrote, "I’ve literally produced and engineered 95% of my music and all dj edits and remixes in my set tonight were 100% by me besides one so fuck you."
(I’m not actually mad I’m just enjoying edc and in a wild mood)
