Graham Coxon releases opening track "Yoga Town" from Superstate graphic novel soundtrack
Graham Coxon has unveiled new son "Yoga Town" today (16 July), the first track lifted from the upcoming Superstate graphic novel soundtrack.
Superstate was announced by Coxon in November last year, and is a graphic novel described as "an all-new high concept vision of the future".
The graphic novel will be accompanied by a soundtrack, and today (16 July) the opening track "Yoga Town" has been unveiled, which features Valentina Pappalardo and is accompanied by a video featuring art by Kendall Goode from the opening story.
For the graphic novel, Coxon worked with co-writers Alex Paknadel (GIGA, Friendo, Turncoat) and Helen Mullane (Nicnevin and the Bloody Queen) and 15 graphic artists, who have created art based on the Coxon's concept. The British musician designed the graphic novel cover himself.
The project will feature 15 graphic stories, with each one accompanied by an individual track.
