Graham Coxon artwork is up for auction on eBay
A piece of original artwork from Blur guitarist Graham Coxon is for sale on eBay.
The work, which is yet to attract any bids, is the artwork for Blur's "Tender" single, and featured on the band's promotional art tour for 13 - their final proper record before Coxon left the band in the early '00s.
As the seller points out, the piece is rather big, measuring at roughly four feet by nine feet. The seller also notes that Coxon's art is rarely available - the last major auction was in 2006, and his last gallery exhibit was in 2010. The description reads:
"This piece is the artwork for Blur's top 10 (actually #2) UK single Tender, as painted by Graham Coxon. Graham was responsible for all the artwork from the album 13. This piece was part of a collection of Graham Coxon's art that travelled the world as part of a Blur "13" promotional art tour. Gallery shows of Graham's art were set up in cities around the world to promote the release of 13 in 1999. This piece was part of the tour and has been in my possession ever since.
This is a one-off digital print. To the seller's understanding there is not another print like this in existence anywhere in the world.
It would make a stunning focal point for any living room or bedroom - especially if you are a fan of Blur, Graham Coxon, modern British artists...
The piece was moved from London to Los Angeles in 2006 by a professional shipping company.
It is now time for this piece to find a new home to hang in.
Will it be on your wall?
Could be you."
