Grace Carter is back with her first new single in over a year "Dark Matter".
"Dark Matter", accompanied by a Ronan Mckenzie-directed video, marks Carter's first new material since teaming up with Jacob Banks on "Blame" in July last year.
""Dark Matter" is a song I wrote at a time where I was beginning to let go of a lifetime of seeking approval from someone who was never gonna give it to me," Carter explains. "It’s kind of sarcastic but also me thanking this person for being so shit that it made me so much better and with time, realise I was so much more without them."
Carter is yet to follow up her 2018 debut EP Why Her Not Me.
Grace Carter's "Dark Matter" single is out now.
