
Gorillaz's 2D shares thumping new solo track "Sleeping Powder"

Gorillaz's 2D is sharing a pumping new solo track named "Sleeping Powder", which features baroque flourishes and delirious hooks.
The accompanying music video sees 2D having a little boogie between kaleidoscopic blurs and found-footage segments.
"Sleeping Powder" was announced earlier today via the Gorillaz app - is this the start of another barrage of material? Could be - Damon Albarn has already told the world that there's lots of offcuts that didn't make the final tracklist of Humanz - "I'm just sort of slowly going through all tunes that sort of didn’t work out and finishing them... I can stay in the game for at least another 18 months, I reckon."
Gorillaz recently made their long-awaited comeback with star-studded record Humanz.
