Gorillaz to collaborate with The Cure's Robert Smith on next Song Machine single
Gorillaz have revealed that their next Song Machine release will feature The Cure's Robert Smith.
Since the start of the year, Gorillaz have been releasing collaborations as part of their Song Machine project, and yesterday (7 September) the group announced that Robert Smith of The Cure will feature on the next instalment of the series.

The new Robert Smith-featuring single will follow on from their previous Song Machine outings including ScHoolboy Q collaboration "PAC-MAN", Friday 13th" featuring Octavian, "Momentary Bliss" featuring Slaves and slowthai, "Désolé" with Fatoumata Diawara and "Aries" featuring Peter Hook and Georgia.
Gorillaz also released "How Far?" with Skepta and the late Tony Allen in May to pay tribute to the legendary drummer.
Song Machine is the group's first project since 2018's The Now Now.
In May Gorillaz announced their first almanac book that's due for release in October.
