Gorillaz are releasing a new art book next year
Gorillaz have announced a new art book led by band co-creator Jamie Hewlett and featuring interpretations of the virtual band members from over 40 creators.
The 288-page art book, titled The Gorillaz Art Book, will feature new work from Jamie Hewlett, who has also invited over 40 creators to contribute intepretations of the band's 2D, Murdoc Niccals, Noodle and Russel Hobbs.
Some of the contributing artists include Ruff Mercy, Kim Jung Gi, Robert Smith, Kerbscrawler Ghost, Robert Valley, Craig McCracken and Tim McCourt & Max Taylor.

Clash reports that Jamie Hewlett said of the book, "Gorillaz have always collaborated with music but this is the first time we’ve done an art collaboration. I’ve really enjoyed working with so many of my favourite artists and the result is this amazing book."
Last year Gorillaz released their debut almanac book to celebrate the group being together for more than two decades.
In November Damon Albarn revealed there's a "full-length Gorillaz film" in the works with Netflix.
