Gordi pays tribute to her late grandmother on new single "Sandwiches"
Australian singer/songwriter Gordi is back with new single "Sandwiches", a tribute to her late grandmother.
"Sandwiches" is Gordi's first new offering since releasing "The Cost" in support of the Australian Bushfire Relief efforts last month.
The new single is produced by Chris Messina and Zach Hanson at Gordi's family home in Canowindra, Australia.
Gordi describes her grandmother as "a great feeder of people". The track title is taken from a moment where Gordi and her mother passed out sandwiches to her grandmother's visitors when she was ill in hospital, and "someone called out that she was gone".
The Australian singer/songwriter is yet to follow up her 2017 debut album Reservoir.
Last month Gordi also featured on Willaris. K's "INDIFFERENT" single.
