GOAT conjure up "Union of Mind and Soul" ahead of new record
Swedish psych-cult GOAT have revealed new single "Union of Mind and Soul" from upcoming third record Requiem.
This track follows "I Sing In Silence", "Try My Robe", and "Alarms" in previewing the new LP. Kind of. It doesn't actually appear on the record (though you can get it with the download code that comes with the vinyl edition).
"Union Of Mind And Soul" is a reworked edit of "Union Of Sun And Moon" that opens Requiem. A press release explains: "The main difference between the tracks is the vocal approach... the album version has the lyrics spoken in a slightly more direct and slightly eerie way."
Requiem is out 7 October via Rocket Recordings.
