Glastonbury Festival shares playlist of acts that were due to perform on The Park Stage this year
Glastonbury Festival has shared a second playlist, this time filled with songs of artists that were due to play The Park Stage this summer before it got cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
Last month, Glastonbury organisers pulled this summer's 50th anniversary event due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Organisers Michael and Emily Eavis stated that they would like to offer "all those people the chance to roll their £50 deposit over to next year, and guarantee the opportunity to buy a ticket for Glastonbury 2021."
Now the event has been cancelled, the Eavis family have decided to update their main stage playlists with songs by artists that were due to perform at this summer's event.
After sharing their John Peel Stage playlist on Tuesday (14 April), organisers decided to share their Park Stage playlist yesterday (16 April).
The playlist features songs from JARV IS..., EOB, Phoebe Bridgers, Cate Le Bon, Big Thief, Laura Marling, London Grammar, Squid, The Orielles, Caribou, and many others.
Here's another of our main stage playlists, updated with the artists who would've been playing there at #Glastonbury2020. This time, it's the turn of The Park Stage. https://t.co/m1E4LdTWbt
