Glastonbury is changing its name to The Variety Bazaar
Glastonbury is set to get a makeover as The Variety Bazaar in 2019 when it shuffles North to its temporary home.
UPDATE: Organiser Emily Eavis says it's not actually Glastonbury changing its name but the name of their new event.

Original Post:
Michael Eavis, speaking to radio station Glastonbury FM, says that it'll be 'The Glastonbury Festival team presents The Variety Bazaar'. "That’s a good name don’t you think?" Eavis told listeners.
In 2019 Glastonbury as we know it will be shifting 100 miles up "towards the Midlands" to give Eavis' farm and the local residents some sorely needed respite.
"It’s half way to the Midlands from here…" Eavis adds. "...and there’s only one landowner. I’ve got 22 landowners where I am now. I just wonder whether the next generation will want to negotiate with so many people. It’s a very difficult job to hold it together.”
The festival organiser/farmer continued, saying that he's taking "a huge risk" with the move. "I’ve been a risk taker all my life," he says. "In 47 years of taking risks, so far touch wood, I haven’t come unstuck. This might be one risk too far, I don’t know.”
Meanwhile, a big legend has confirmed he'll be performing at this year's bash.
Radiohead are the only officially confirmed act for Glastonbury 2017 so far, with The Avalanches set to play according to themselves. Phil Collins, Depeche Mode, Guns N' Roses, Foo Fighters, Kraftwerk, Daft Punk and The Stone Roses have been linked with next year's event in the past few months, while Little Mix and Lady Gaga have also expressed interest in performing.
