Glastonbury Festival update stage playlists with artists that were due to play this summer's event
Glastonbury Festival has updated its main stage playlists with artists who were due to play the 50th anniversary event this summer.
Last month, Glastonbury organisers pulled this summer's 50th anniversary event due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Organisers Michael and Emily Eavis stated that they would like to offer "all those people the chance to roll their £50 deposit over to next year, and guarantee the opportunity to buy a ticket for Glastonbury 2021."
Now the event has been cancelled, the Eavis family have decided to update their main stage playlists with songs by artists that were due to perform at this summer's event.
They've started by sharing their John Peel Stage playlist, which features tracks by Aitch, Beabadoobee, The Big Moon, Burna Boy, Clairo, Soccer Mommy, Primal Scream, Jehnny Beth, Glass Animals, FKA Twigs, and many more.
We thought it'd be nice to update our main stages playlists on Spotify with the acts who would've been gracing those stages at #Glastonbury2020. We begin with the John Peel Stage… https://t.co/8sEIVv7Q7t
