Glass Animals, Tame Impala, SOFI TUKKER, and more confirmed for Mad Cool Festival
Over 30 new acts have joined the lineup for Mad Cool 2018, with Tame Impala, Glass Animals, and SOFI TUKKER leading the way.
Franz Ferdinand, Hurray For The Riff Raff, Kaleo, Maya Jane Coles, Porches, Frankie Cosmos, FIDLAR, Gang Of Youths, Alice In Chains, Pearl Jam, and lots more are also joining Depeche Mode, MGMT, Massive Attack, and the rest of the first wave.
Next year's festivities will be moving from Caja Magica to a new 'Mad Cool Space' in northern Madrid. The 80,000 capacity Mad Cool will now take palce in Valdebebas - IFEMA, with the Mad Cool Gallery, Mad Cool Design Market, and a "renovated restaurant zone" all also on the cards.
We went to Mad Cool over the summer and had a fantastic time - we found that it's one of the continent's leading festivals, and is more than capable of giving Barcelona institution Primavera a run for its money.
