Girls frontman Christopher Owens quits band
Girls frontman Christopher Owens has revealed that he is quiting the band.
The singer of the San Fran group has announced his departure in the following statement:
“This may come as a surprise to many & has been an issue of much thought for me. My decision was not easy to make. I am leaving Girls. My reasons at this time are personal. I need to do this in order to progress. I will continue to write & record music. More will be announced soon. I thank you all for everything.”
It is unknown at the present time whether or not Girls will continue without Owens.
The band released their second album, Father, Son, Holy Ghost, last year and performed in London just a month ago.
