Girl in Red projects her frustration on new single "i need to be alone."

"i need to be alone." is the first release from Girl in Red since January's "watch you sleep."

On the new single, Girl in Red says, "I wrote "i need to be alone one." night when I was really frustrated. I was thinking about how much time I spend on things that don't matter, and having this weird feeling of guilt that i wasn't living my life. there's so many things happening all the time and it's kinda hard to keep up, I just wanna pull away from everything and be alone."

The two singles will appear on Girl in Red's next EP landing later this year that follows on from her 2018 debut EP, chapter 1. Girl in Red spoke to us last year about her first EP.
