Girl Band unshackle a cyclone of abrasive noises called "Pears For Lunch"
Post-punk outfit Girl Band have shared a razor-sharp new track titled "Pears For Lunch" from upcoming LP Holding Hands With Jamie.
While the title might give you the impression of something fairly innocuous or even twee, "Pears For Lunch" is a gritty onslaught of abrasive noises all bashing into each other like seasoned mosh pit denizens going in for the kill.
The Dubliners will release Holding Hands With Jamie on 25 September via Rough Trade. It follows April EP The Early Years.
