Revered Italian producer Giorgio Moroder is plotting a new LP called 74 Is The New 24 for Spring 2015 on Sony/RCA. It will be his first solo record in 30 years.
The record is set to host a star-studded cavalcade of guest vocalists, including Charli XCX, Sia, Britney Spears, Foxes, Kylie Minogue, Mikky Ekko, Mathew Koma and more.

Speaking to TCP, Moroder gave his opinion on his recent return to the limelight:
“After [Daft Punk] asked me to be on their record I started to get offers to DJ, which I had never done, and that was a great thing, and then I started to get offers for a deal, and Sony/RCA was the best, so I went with them. And I love so many artists, working on the new video with Jai Lewis, and collaborating with Sia, Kylie Minogue, I met with Lady Gaga, who was terrific, so talented. At my age, in 2014, I was more than happy. And now, between my collaborations and DJing, I love my second career.”
74 Is The New 24 is due out Spring 2015 on Sony/RCA.
