Gia Margaret releases soothing new song "Solid Heart"
Gia Margaret has marked the start of 2021 by sharing her soothing new track "Solid Heart".
"Solid Heart" is Margaret's first outing since featuring on Half Gringa's July 2020 single "Afraid of Horses".
The new track is produced by Margaret and features Rhodri Brooks on lap steel guitar, Greg Rutkin on drums, Nick Papaleo on bass, and backing vocals from Arthi Meera.
Margaret writes of the song on Bandcamp, "I just felt like sharing a song. I've been missing the spontaneity of releasing music on a whim. During these slow winter months and after such a slow (and rough) year for everyone-- I thought it would give me (and maybe you) something nice to start 2021 with. It is my offering."
She's yet to follow up her ambient 2020 album Mia Gargaret.
