Gengahr have returned with thrilling new track "Carrion" and details of a new London show
Indie four-piece Gengahr have returned with new single "Carrion" and details of an intimate London show next month.
Dan Jacobs have provided the stunning animated video for "Carrion", the band's follow up to 2015 EP Tired Eyes and debut record A Dream Outside. Neil Comber (M.I.A., Glass Animals) is on production duties.
"'Carrion' is one of the hardest hitting tracks we have written, both musically and lyrically...," explains the band's Felix Bushe. "The track is full of snark and bitterness, but also offers hope and triumph over the oppressive nature of the world we live in today. Born in part out of frustration, the song crashes on, an embodiment of the resilience we've found essential in getting to where we find ourselves now."
Gengahr play London's Omeara on 13 October for a one-off show - tickets are on sale from 22 September.
Earlier this summer Bushe teamed up with Shura, Jamie Lee from MONEY, Ryan from Superfood, and more for The Line Of Best Fit's team at the Indie Music Cup, helping raise money for causes in Syria.
