Future Islands to release new single "The Chase" for Record Store Day
Future Islands have announced details of a brand new single called "The Chase", which will be released on Record Store Day.
However, unlike most releases, this new "one-off lacquer" will be shipped to only one store in the world. To be that singular stockist, head to Abbey Roads' Twitter page and pitch your heart out.
"The Chase" was recorded straight onto vinyl at Studio Three at Abbey Roads, and the band teased the fact they were back in the studio on social media last month.
For those not able to grab a copy, the tune will get its debut airing at some point between 7am-10am on Mary Anne Hobbs’ BBC 6 Music radio slot.
Future Islands' latest record, Singles, is out now on 4AD. "The Chase" is the first whiff of new music since that album's release last year.
You can watch the band debut the track live at London's Roundhouse below.
