Future Islands, Ryan Adams, and PJ Harvey to headline Green Man Festival

Green Man Festival has announced a mammoth first wave of acts for its 15th anniversary celebrations, with PJ Harvey, Ryan Adams, and Future Islands topping the bill.

The headliners are all UK festival exclusives - Harvey returns to Wales for the first time in a decade, Adams makes his first trip to the Black Mountains, and Future Islands voyage to Wales for the first time... and they're bringing "songs from their upcoming album."

Other highlights include Michael Kiwanuka, Angel Olsen, Lambchop, Conor Oberst, BadBadNotGood, Jon Hopkins (DJ), Karl Blau, Richard Dawson, Field Music, Doomsquad, the Deep Throar Choir, and Julia Jacklin.

Music's obviously a big draw, but, as ever, Green Man have a bunch of other tricks up their sleeves, including Babbling Tongues' comedy and literature lineups and a world of scientific discovery in Einstein's Garden. There's also the mystical Far Out Field to investigate, and over 100 beers and ciders available in The Courtyard.

There are still many more acts to come - including a Thursday headliner and the After Dark DJs programme - but for now get your eyes around this stellar bunch.
