Fufanu tease second album Sports with dark new single "Bad Rockets"
Reykjavík-based experimenters Fufanu have shared "Bad Rockets", the second track from upcoming album Sports.
"Bad Rockets" joins "Sports" in teasing the follow up to Fufanu's 2015 debut Few More Days To Go. The new single woozy and mysterious, with delirious post-punk vibes and bruised vocals aplenty - on "Bad Rockets" Fufanu scurry forwards with trepidation, dashed by gooey riffs and narcotic echoes, dodging swollen waves of reverb and snare, crawling towards a harrowing end with no hope in sight. It's great, basically.
The band have worked with Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner on the album, which was recorded in their native Iceland.
As well as the album details and sinister sounds, Fufanu have detailed a run of UK shows to support Sports - including a date at London's Kamio.
