Fucked Up announce new album, share punching new track "Raise Your Voice Joyce"
The Toronto hardcore punks have returned with news of a double album, and have shared the lead single "Raise Your Voice Joyce".
Dose Your Dreams will be their first full length album since 2014's Glass Boys.
"Raise Your Voice Joyce" is an adrenaline-fuelled snapshot into the chaotic and foreboding world of Fucked Up.
The lyric video also delves into a second track, "Two I’s Closed”, and is the first material to be released on Merge Records.
Still yet to release a tracklist, the double album announcement comes with a US and Canada tour set for October and November. Fucked Up even come to London on 3 August for their Visions Festival performance. Find out more.
Canadian composer Owen Pallett, who contributed strings to Dose Your Dreams, explains, "Dose Your Dreams—meaning: treat your dreams as you would a dream, allow yourself to be lost within them, allow them to open your heart and your mind, enjoy them as you would a drug. Reach out for my hand and pull me close."
