Toronto punks Fucked Up have joined forces with Polaris Award-winning Nunavut-based throat singer Tanya Tagaq for new track "Our Own Blood".
The song is a whopping 30+ minutes long, and sees the artists combine for an atmospheric, semi-ambient escapade. It's described by Fucked Up as a track for "careful contemplation."
It's probably not what you'd expect Fucked Up to sound like, but this curveball offering, bolstered by the primal growls and coos from Tagaq, is thrilling nonetheless.
