Fuck Buttons' Andrew Hung has announced debut solo record Realisationship
Andrew Hung - co-founder of noisy outfit Fuck Buttons - has announced his debut solo record Realisationship and shared new single "Say What You Want".
The full-length is the follow up to 2015's Rave Cave EPs, last year's Kidsticks collab with Beth Orton, and his score for horror comedy The Greasy Strangler. It's produced and recorded by Hung himself, and is the first of his releases to feature his own vocal work.
"I had no idea I was going to be singing on this record; it just happened! Gaining the confidence to do that was the hardest part - singing as an expression is very new to me," Hung explains.
Fuck Buttons last released an album in 2013 (Slow Focus). Hung's FB partner-in-crime Ben Power is pretty active as Blanck Mass - his latest LP World Eater arrived back in February.
Hung will play a free solo show at The Social in London on 15 August.
