Frou Frou's Guy Sigsworth remixes Gia Margaret's "Solid Heart" track

Margaret originally released "Solid Heart" in January, a song written in 2018 that she returned to over lockdown.

Today (2 April), she's unveiled a remix of the song by Frou Frou's Guy Sigsworth.

Margaret writes of the remix, "It’s a surreal honor to have had Guy Sigsworth remix one of my songs. Anyone who knows me, knows that Details (by Frou Frou) is one of my all-time favorite records. And growing up, unbeknownst to me, some of my favorite songs were songs that he worked on. Whether he’s working with artists like Madonna, Björk, or Britney Spears, anything Guy touches turns to something I never tire of. I am so grateful to have an impeccably reimagined version of a song that is special to me (by one of my heroes)."

The remix follows Margaret's recent collaboration with Ross Gay "Poem To My Child, If Ever You Shall Be" that landed last month, and was released as part of Jagjaguwar's Dilate Your Heart album, the first album of Jagjaguwar's year-long 25th anniversary campaign JAG25.
