Frankie Cosmos to release new Covers album, covers Krill
Greta Kline - better known as Frankie Cosmos - has announced the release of a new covers album aptly entitled (yep, you guessed it) Covers.
Seven tracks in length, the mini-album sees Kline putting her stylistic spin on tracks from the likes of Porches' Aaron Maine and Krill - the latter can be heard above right now.
Covers arrives following the success of Cosmos' latest album Next Thing, released earlier this year.
"Whenever I'm really excited about a song I want to learn it, and it becomes the first thing I play every time I pick up an instrument," Kline says of her inspiration for the release. "These are all songs by people I know and have seen perform a lot and have been inspired by. I recorded these covers last winter in my bedroom."
