Frankie Cosmos announce Vessel, their 18-track Sub Pop debut
New York-based quartet Frankie Cosmos have returned with "Jesse", the first song from upcoming Sub Pop debut Vessel.
Frankie Cosmos, fronted by bandleader Greta Kline, are following up 2016 release Next Thing and a covers EP handily titled Covers. It's their third studio album, but the 52nd (!) offering from Kline.
Vessel was recorded over three days in Binghampton, NY, with frequent collaborator Hunter Davidsohn. Further recordings and overdubs were laid down in Brooklyn with Carlos Hernandez and Julian Fader of Ava Luna; Alex Bailey (formerly of Warehouse, now a permanent live member of Frankie Cosmos), Vishal Narang (Airhead DC), and Anna McClellan all contribute to the album as well.
