Frank Ocean to start work on second album
Frank Ocean is said to be prepping initial plans for his second album, a source close to the singer has revealed.
Ocean, who released studio debut Channel Orange last year, took home Best Urban Contemporary Album and Best Sung/Vocal Collaboration at last night’s Grammys.
Speaking to Billboard after the event however, Channel Orange producer Om’Mas Keith said that the R&B singer was laying down ideas for a follow-up.
”He came over to the studio and said we’re about to get back to work again. So it’s just that creative talk, where we know we’re about to get back into the studio soon. I’m just not sure when.”
Don’t expect the record in question to surface any time soon, however, as Ocean previously told The New York Times that he wanted to write “in remote locations for the next two years”.
