Frank Ocean scraps release of 7" vinyl featuring new song
Frank Ocean has cancelled the release of a 7" vinyl featuring a new song and is refunding fans who pre-ordered the vinyl.
In November 2018, Frank Ocean shared an Arca remix of "Little Demon" featuring Skepta. He also launched a pre-order for the "Little Demon" 7" vinyl single, which was expected to be shipped in eight to 12 weeks from November 2018.
Back in February 2020 fans who pre-ordered the vinyl received an update from Frank Ocean's team which revealed that "Little Demon" track would be replaced with "a new, unreleased Frank Ocean song."
Over the weekend fans received a second update on the 7" vinyl which confirmed that the vinyl will no longer be released "due to the events of this year". His team's statement added, "We will be refunding your purchase of this item and any additional items in your order will begin shipping next week."
Frank Ocean's team thanked those who purchased the vinyl for their "understanding", and sent wishes for "love, positivity and health".
