Frank Ocean, Kanye West, Skrillex among MTV VMA Awards nominations
MTV have unveiled their shortlist of nominees for this year’s VMA Awards.
R&B swoonster Frank Ocean is up for three accolades (‘Best New Artist’, ‘Best Male Video’ and ‘Best Direction’), while the main award of the evening, ‘Video of the Year’, will be fought out by Katy Perry, Rihanna, Drake, M.I.A and Gotye.
Elsewhere, Kanye West could win ‘Best Hip-Hop Video’ for ‘Mercy’, while Skrillex looks a dead-cert to top the ‘Best EDM Video’ category.
